Our Approach

Annual Walk For World Diabetes Day

Program Description

The Annual Diabetes Walk is a flagship event held every November 14th in commemoration of World Diabetes Day, aimed at raising awareness about diabetes prevention, early detection, and management. This impactful event brings together individuals, healthcare professionals, corporate organisations, and community groups to advocate for healthier lifestyles and increased access to diabetes care.

In addition to creating awareness, the walk serves as a sponsored fundraising activity, where participants raise funds for diabetes management and support services. For every kilometre walked, individuals generate pledged donations from friends, family, or sponsors, contributing to a shared goal of reducing the burden of diabetes through improved care, education, and accessibility.

The day features a symbolic walk, free health screenings, and interactive sessions led by experts, all designed to educate and inspire action.
